Riding at the DX Ranch is an incredible experience.  Not only do you get to be with some of the most amazing people, but you get to work with the most amazing horses.  Both strive beyond measures to help you achieve every goal you set.  There isn’t a single moment that is dull when on the grounds of the DX Ranch.
Zach and Jenn are two outstanding riders with the utmost of patience and understanding.  As someone who put most of their riding career behind them to learn this newfound horsemanship style, it was definitely tough at times.  Zach and Jenn work with you in all the frustrations that you may come across and they make sure you understand what it is you are doing and why. There are glad to help in any way possible and always have a smile on their faces.
Each and every one of the concepts that Zach and Jenn teach can be applied in almost every situation.  Back in Montana, I’ve been able to apply the horsemanship I learned on the ranch not only to the horses I work with, but to life itself.  I’ve learned greater patience and problem-solving skills.  Every week I make a plan of what I need to accomplish, something I learned on the ranch while working with the horses.  It was definitely one concept I seemed to struggle with, but am getting better at day-by-day.  Planning out where you want your horse’s feet to go is like planning what you need to do for the coming week.  Although there is a difference time wise, they are still relevant to every day life. Without my checklist I would not be able to make it through the next week, just like you wouldn’t make it to your unknown destination on your horse.  You need to know where you need to go as opposed to just mindlessly trotting around the arena.
Project H3LP! and the DX Ranch will be changing future generations to come for the better.
The impact that this ranch will have on youth will be incredible and very life changing.  Kids will be able to learn these life long skills and will interacting with one of the most loving creatures.  The horses will show the youth so much more in a matter of minutes than they could learn over the course of a year sitting behind a desk.  This hands-on experience will change the way these kids think about decisions, how they treat their fellow classmates and elders, and give them all they need when it comes to the foundations of life. Project H3LP! and the DX Ranch will be changing future generations to come for the better.
